| Sofia Productions International Model Search Is Now Accepting Applications |
- Open to Females and Male Aspiring Models between the ages 17-28 years old
- You must be a resident of California and Nevada in order to Participate
- Female Minimum Height Requirements Females 5'6"/Male Minimum Height Requirements 5'10"
- Open to all ethnicities
- Open to US Citizens and Legal Resident Aliens in Nevada & California States
- 3 pictures full body shot, close up and swimsuit

| Those interested in competing should complete an application (click to download) and email to info@sofiaproductions.net, along with your pictures , $45.00 non refundable entry fee and video tape must be mailed to Sofia Productions 914 Westwood Blvd #509, Los Angeles CA 90024 or bring it to a live casting call. You will need to bring with you, three pictures. Twenty semi-finalist will be chosen by Sofia Productions. These semi-finalist will be videotaped. Each will be given three minutes to introduce herself/himself and explain why she will make the best Sofia Productions International Model Search. Twenty finalists will be voted on by the viewing public on Vision Sin Limite/www.nevadacasting.com. You will need to be available the entire day of (TBD) for a fashion show. The winner will be selected from this show and will receive a guaranteed interview with the casting crew of Sofia Productions International Model Search of Los Angeles |

| Linda Valencia Crowned Miss Nevada Latina 2008 |

During the inaugural Miss Nevada Latina competition, a prestigious panel of judges crowned Linda K Valencia as the first Miss Nevada Latina. Linda was selected from a group of 10 talented and beautiful young women and will go on to compete in the Miss Latina US competitions in San Antonio, Texas on September 26–28th.
Miss Linda encompass all that is the Miss Nevada Latina pageant – beauty, style, cultural & higher education appreciation, as well as community awareness. Sofia Productions is honored to have Linda representing our organization throughout the year and at the national competition in September.”
Linda K Valencia, a 22-year-old Mexican-American beauty, current University of Reno Nevada student working towards her BA in Business Management. At UNR, she is involved in the Delta Sigma Pi co-ed business fraternity, Delta Epsilon Iota academic honor society, the Management and Human Resources Association and the International Business Student Council.
The pageants took place on September 20 and included an interview competition, a swimsuit competition, and an evening gown competition.
Final results for the Miss division:
First Runner Up: Stacy Miller
Second Runner Up: Maria Guadalupe Velasquez
Third Runner Up: Hilda Lyssett Chavez
Miss Photogenic: Jaqueline Calamateos
The Miss Nevada Latina 2008 prize package includes: Round trip transportation to the 2008 national competition, the official Miss Nevada Latina Crown, Sash, $1000.00 scholarship.
